September 23, 2020 The Junior League of Tuscaloosa (JLT) is now selling its fall local discount card called the T-Town Shop Around (TTSA) card.  This staple fundraiser for the League partners with more than 20 local businesses to offer discounts, which vary by location, to shoppers who purchase the card. Discounts of 10 percent at restaurants and 20 percent at other merchants are offered for the purchase of this $20 card. Read More

May 14, 2018   The Junior League of Tuscaloosa elects the first African-American President in the League’s 89-year history on Monday, May 14th at 6 p.m. in their annual meeting held in Christ Episcopal Church. Karen Thompson, who has been a member of the Junior League of Tuscaloosa for nine years and held numerous positions on the Board of Directors, will serve as President for the 2018-19 year. March 28, 2018  The Junior League of Tuscaloosa trades Dragon Boat Races for service. The JLT will not host the 2018 Dragon Boat Races. A team of highly dedicated women put significant effort into planning the 2018 event; however, the League encountered major logistical issues which will prevent us from hosting the races this year.
