JLT Member Spotlight: Whitni Molden

Get to know Whitni Molden, WAYLA Award recipient, JLT Volunteer of the Year winner, a Tuscaloosa Top 40 Under 40 honoree, and most importantly, our Diversity & Inclusion Member-at-Large, in this week’s Member Spotlight!

How many years have you been in the league? I joined the Junior League in 2018.

What is your day job? I am an Insurance agent with AAA Insurance.

Favorite thing to do in Tuscaloosa? Volunteer

If you had an extra 8 hours in your day what would you do with it? Help someone else.

In your opinion what is the best thing about being a JLT member? The ability to interact with a  group of women. and not only serve my community, but learn from them. Being a part of the League has given me confidence in not being afraid to let my voice be heard and just get the job done!

What do you want other people to know about JLT? We have not only the belief but the action that when we come together we can truly make a difference. Our commitment to diversity and inclusion is one of the things that I am so proud of. We welcome all women and invite them to join us in our mission.

Why did you join the JLT? I saw the League’s mission, and I wanted to be part of achieving it!
